A downloadable game

The main purpose of this project is to learn about different kinds of game mechanics. 

In this game, I have also implemented:

  • Different types of enemies.
  • Different types of power-up pickups.
  • Spawning enemies based on the current wave.
  • Enemies that follow the player and try to hit them off the platform.
  • Destroying enemies that fall off from the platform.
  • Countdown for the power-up effect after the player picks up any of them.

How to play:

  1. Use WASD to control the ball. 
  2. Try your best to survive and hit the enemies to make them fall off from the platform.
  3. Pick up power-up items to use special skills. 
  4. The yellow gem will hit enemies with extra force, the green gem will allow the player to fire rockets when pressing the F key, and the red gem will enable the player to jump and apply radius force to the surroundings when pressing the Spacebar.

Things plan to add in future:

  • UI such as various menus and display the wave counter.
  • Audio such as background music and sound effect.
